Computer manufacturer Lenovo is ready to delve into the world of 3D PCs by unveiled its first 3D notebook, a portable machine of the series 15.6-inch IdeaPad with a 3D display. It is equipped with 3D software and polarization glasses for 3D games and video playback.

Toshiba’s First 3D Notebook Edition Satellite A665
Toshiba developed a gaming and multimedia notebook with Nvidia 3D Vision technology, the Satellite A665 3D Edition. Comes with a 15.6 inch 120Hz screen that can handle 3D stereoscopic and GeForce GTS 350 that supports the 3D vision for not only games and videos online but HD movies via Blu-ray burner. DVD playback also got a lift as the Toshiba upscaling technology carries over from its TVs.

3M has launched a newest monitor technology, and is one of the first USB 3.0-powered monitor products. This will not only display signal via the new standard, but also power from it.
The 3M demonstration unit is only an 18.5 inch screen with 1366 x 768 resolution, but this is not a limitation of the technology. USB 3.0 provides the bandwidth up to 5Gbit, compared to 480Mbps USB 2.0. This means that there are limits to what you see on USB 3.0 monitor.
